Dojo for Crooks is an indie rock group from Kansas City, USA. Initially formed in 2011 by childhood friends Braden Anderson (Braden the Young), Jesse Howe, and Andy Thies in a garage with a few cheap synthesizers and a drum kit, their sound has come into its own as intrinsic garage-rock built on a foundation of pop influences. The group's characteristic upbeat, distortion-tinged sound has scored placements in commercials for brands including Microsoft, Estée Lauder and Toyota plus TV shows on MTV and ESPN.
